Vagifem (Estradiol) is a female hormone medication used to help vaginal symptoms of menopause including burning, itching, vaginal dryness and pain during sexual intercourse which are a result of the body making less estrogen. Estrogen is a female sex hormone which regulates many body processes.

Vagifem is typically used once daily for the initial two weeks of treatment and then twice weekly afterwards.
